Two weeks ago, a poll commissioned by Barnardo's revealed that 49% of the UK population have a negative view of children. Almost half the UK population holds this view despite most young people being involved in positive activities and contributing positively to their local community and society on the whole.
This blog has been set up challenge the view of the 49% and actually act a central portal that sheds a light on all of the positive young people in our society that are upstanding members of society.

If you know of any young people doing positive things, please feel free to get in touch so we can acknowledge them and share their story. Where possible we would like to interview the young person and give them a voice to challenge the perception of 49% of the UK population.
